Manual Spray Painters
Manual spray painters must have a working knowledge of paint equipment and processes, prior painting experience, and an attention to detail. Additional responsibilities include monitoring hourly performance to ensure all quality and production criteria are met. Inspection and cleaning of all equipment and good housekeeping skills are vital. Pay based on experience.
Inspectors
All parts painted at Erler must be visually inspected and meet tough quality standards. Inspectors remove parts from the conveyors and visually inspect each part for defects. Inspectors must have good hand/eye coordination and be detail oriented. The inspector is also responsible for tracking and recording defects, notifying the Quality Control Auditor of any issues, and reworking and sorting parts as necessary.
Quality Control Auditor (QC)
Erler Industries, Inc. is a certified TS16949 supplier. A QC must ensure that all parts meet customer quality standards by auditing parts, testing parts, ensuring that work instructions are followed, ensuring that each inspector on the line is properly trained, and that all parts are packed and labeled correctly. The QC also tracks hourly production yield and completes the production report. It is important for the QC to communicate all quality issues to management and work with management in problem solving, through root cause analysis and corrective actions. The QC must have prior manufacturing quality control experience and pass a basic math test and color acuity test. Pay based on experience.
Robot Technicians
At Erler, parts are painted on state of the art robotic lines. Robot technicians are highly skilled, detailed oriented individuals with prior painting and robotic experience. Good mechanical aptitude is a must. The robot technician is responsible for one of our robotic lines ensuring that all processing, health, safety, and environmental rules and procedures are followed. Additionally, the robot technician must have an understanding of all system codes, how to adjust fluid flows, line speeds, temperatures and pot pressures. The robot technician must have strong trouble shooting skills. Inspection and cleaning of all equipment and good housekeeping skills are vital. Pay based on experience.
